Community Service

From Shelter Advocacy to Legal Aid

Kendall is a humanitarian with a huge heart for animals and children. Her compassion knows no boundaries; whether it’s approaching a homeless person with food in hand or buying groceries and school supplies for families in need, Kendall is always looking for ways to help others. Her love for animals goes beyond her own pets. Kendall is an avid supporter of the Shelby County Humane Society, where she serves as an adoption ambassador and uses her platform to share the stories of shelter dogs in need of a home. She is committed to giving a voice to the animals at Shelby Humane and was recently recognized in the local news and radio for leading a fundraiser to improve the conditions of the kennel room. For Kendall, helping animals isn’t just a hobby. It’s a reflection of her values: compassion, responsibility, and community service.

For many years, Kendall has used her legal expertise to serve not only her clients, but also the citizens of Shelby County. She has devoted a considerable amount of her time to pro bono work, providing free legal assistance to low-income families and elderly residents of Shelby County. Kendall’s commitment to justice and equality reflects a strong belief that access to legal support should not be limited by financial means. Her experience as a single, teenage mother has also fueled her commitment to helping other single mothers in the community.

Alongside her pro bono work, Kendall has given guidance to teenagers and adults facing unplanned pregnancies, offering support to those who were uncertain and giving them the confidence to choose life. Kendall’s commitment to listening, guiding, and serving others reflects the qualities she will bring to the bench: fairness, compassion, and respect for all.
